They prioritize superior customer engagement, use all platform tools to increase platform growth, track analytics, and generate leads for future revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing capabilities within the given platform.
Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media platform runs and how to optimize best their given platform for lead generation, customer engagement, and community growth.

Minimum Qualifications Must live within commuting distance of Southern Pines, NC Excellent verbal and written communication skills for copywriting and communication on social platforms Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, psychology, PR, or a related field Experience with SOCi scheduling software and apps to preview Facebook graphic grid before publishing Experience with Canva, QuickTime player, iMovie, and Adobe Photoshop for graphic design and video editing Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), platform-specific analytics for best practices, and platform growth Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Experience with their given platform to invent, design, produce, edit, comply with company branding standards, and maintain consistent creative designs that are cohesive with all other communication or marketing platforms used by the company Experience identifying, creating, and executing successful campaigns for target audiences to be engaged Excellent analytical and time-management skills Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate multiple tasks in multiple projects Strong time management skills and the ability to plan content calendars months in advance Able to respond to social media activity on weekends or evenings, if needed during emergencies Ability to occasionally travel for conferences, training, or support local communities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A creative thinker with strong social media skills A driven worker motivated to expand into new avenues within their platform to generate new leads Motivated to creatively implement new trends with the platform using the correct tools (REELS, IGTVs, Carousel posts, etc.
) Proficient in customer relationship management using direct messaging or specific copywriting to boost engagement Adept at conflict resolution and always remaining aware of accurate company responses Skilled at initiating collaboration within their immediate team as well as with other departments for projects Familiar with project management software, such as Workfront Ability to take a concept from conception to finished product in a highly interactive environment Always aware of current social media trends and algorithms for best practices and growth Encouraging attitude and team player Focused on assisting our families in succeeding at homeschooling with graphics, copy, and by reaching out to them Essential Functions Oversee day-to-day management of their platform through engagement, messaging, posting, and finding new user-generated content from our families Manage and grow existing social networks to which they are assigned, such as Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook Gather user-generated content by building rapport with parents and field leadership on their platform Use graphic design tools to create unique, encouraging posts that are timely and useful for the target audience Work with their team to finalize content before publishing Generate, submit for edits, review feedback, schedule, and publish daily content (original copy, graphics, images, or video) Build meaningful connections and encourage community members as they homeschool Ensure brand standards remain consistent through messaging and graphics Establish an organization system of all content (such as videos, photos, or quotes) for future use on social media platforms Preview Instagram graphic grid with preview apps, like Color Story, for aesthetic appeal before publishing Write effective, concise copy for their specific platform Create and maintain a monthly content calendar for daily content release Resolve customer issues through social media using company-curated responses and personal knowledge of the issue Moderate all user-generated content and remove language, posts, or comments out of line with our company vision/mission Align other projects from Marketing, Sales, Bookstore, or company updates with an upcoming content calendar Attend kickoff meetings with other departments for cross-collaboration Develop and implement social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, and research the best ways to increase traffic for lead generation Invent new and creative ways to engage the target audience through postings, content, campaigns, or collaborations Actively research new trends or social media updates for technology, any upcoming industry opportunities, or virtual conferences Monitor social media growth analytics using native tools or SOCI analytics Review the success of campaigns and develop ways to improve (Lessons Learned write-ups) Communicate with other team members regarding issues (or Stucks) for an open line of communication and partnership Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to management (Weekly Wins) Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices and then acting on the information Utilize social media tools to document and stream live events such as National Conference, NMM, or others to promote company visibility and generate excitement Assist in planning and executing live events for Classical Conversations Prioritize personal and professional growth by reading recent industry updates, staying aware of company changes, etc.
Attend industry-related conferences, such as SMMW, Open Houses, Practicum, or Sales Representative Conferences Model the Classical Conversations Core Values - Grace, Humility, Integrity, Diligence, and Excellence Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods, travel, and be around/interact with other people.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
